Auto Key Wizard
Not too concerned as the concept has been around a while. A automatated key venting machine can and will make mistakes without a trained operator. A hands on approach with manual/computerised machines and personal touch will always pervail How it with ever supply a coded vehicle key beats me kobblers

k4mrc
no staff wages,(apart from filling service etc) great idea, and will get better in time. will greatly effect all key cutters who trade around it. I thought these were not in UK?

I thought these were not in UK? I class myself and our business as professional key cutters. No machine can EVER match that experience or skill that we have. How do you get a refund when a key does not work etc. Personally I have cut well over a million keys in 42 years (possibly closer to 2) in this trade and love it more now than ever. We have 4 computer controlled machines the best that money can buy and 9 manual machines and no one automated Timpson machine can cover what we can do. Not even close. As i said I welcome these machines with open arms as they will force everyone in the trade to up their game to be the best they can and continue to invest in the latest technology. Times are changing fast and we as a trade need to keep modernising and investing to stay ahead of the competition. Agreed Graham, people who used these machines and then come to me are amazed at how quick and painless the process is, and how much cheaper we are, especially as the prices have increased recently! grahamparker
Peaky
I thought about investing in a few of these but the prices were astronomical and they take up quite a bit of space. My idea was to offer them to village shops with a cut of the profits but the figures just didn't add up and I would be dead before they were making profit and if rented there wasn't enough profit in it for me not alone a small buissness wanting a cut as well.
