Era cylinder key I'd?

I have just had this come in to copy. Apart from the tip everything else looks like the er1. I have cut it and taken the tip off but is there an original blank to use as this customer has had new locks on front and back doors so I might be seeing more in the future.

Iam told you can use ul1 if you adjust the tip, but i have never tried. Comes up on the multicode as Federal

It looks like it but my customers key was definitely a 5 pin key.

There appears to be 6 cuts on that key, and the code begins with a 6 indicating it is a 6pin too.

Sorry you are both correct. I was meaning that the length of the key is the same as the silca er1.

3 Star Fortress key, usually they have plastic bows, the tell-tale sign is the notch missing from the tip-end of the key, and they do in fact have inscriptions of 6Y3xxxxx. I think the range is from 6Y300001 to 6Y398246. I'm unaware of any lookup tables floating around. The length of the key is similar to a 5 pin yeah but it's just a case of the cuts being closer together, that's just by design, nothing special.

Locks are made by Federal for ERA.
