Ian platt
Had a lot of keys back last week all seamed to have too much off all universal blanks from Sks then we noticed the blanks moving ever so slightly as they are tightened in the clamp only on copy side and only on Sks blank then also noticed a lot I’ve the copies have poor finish on bottom edge just wondering if anyone else had the Same
tommy
Try changing the blade as it may be grabbing the key which would also explain the poor finish. Another thing to try is to change the jaws over as the one that holds the key to be cut gets a lot more wear
Gray
I always use Silca blanks where possible. Never had a lot of faith in JMA blanks. Make sure your machine is set up properly, I check mine every couple of weeks.

Flash
Noticed this myself a few times, try not putting the key to far in the vice, that may solve the problem.
grahamparker
Silca are the most expensive blanks for a reason.
