Dave the locksmith
Has anyone had any experiences with either machine ?
grahamparker
I had an early Easi Entrie which was a great machine but it was never used to it's full potential. I sold it to Lee who used to own the forum a few years back. Both are great machines but it takes approx 9 minutes to make one blank. Hickleys had the Xcut on Demo at a Locksmith Expo a few years back and where duplicating Evva EPS blanks until they had a stern warning from Aldridges. The machine was then removed from display after that.
rmarsters
Have an Easi Entrie and it's pretty useful, gets us out of a hole with things we can't source.
Azaloid
the XCUT scans both side at the same time which makes it quicker than the easy entrie. the head of the XCUT looks more like a normal key as well compared to the easy entrie. Count Muppet
I don’t really get in with either of them. find the right blank, if the right blank isn’t available then someone probably don’t want them to have a key cut. If the blank is no longer made, it’s probably time to change the lock Mike at Vauxhall and Mick Friend

Just looking at options for the time that every other option has been exhausted. If i could i would convert them all to Mul-T-Lock.
