NYKeys
Got a Citroen cruciform key I need to cut - haven't done one of these before - does anyone have any words of advice?! I'm presuming I can do it on my cylinder cutter? many thanks!
Martin b
Ignition key doesn't have the side cuts but door locks do, can be a bugger to cut sometimes usually the side cuts are the pain so if you cut one and it works the ignition but not the door it will be the side cuts causing the issue
grahamparker
You usually need an adapter to clamp the keys if they are the 4 sided key.

Count Muppet
You can do the side cuts on your lazer/cavity/dimple machine. Everyone seems to give them a different name
Masterkey01
There a challenging to Cut for awhile in my opinion, The tip of the key is important as that what engages the lock, You might need to file it to work the doors, Also if it doesn't work the ignition give it a good flushing out with GT85. rmarsters

Quite often find we have to file the tip down otherwise they won't do the doors.

Never had to do that using Silca blanks and cutting them manually or using my Triax with the adapter.

I use a broken key extractor to remove the fluff and whatever lies in the bottom of the ignition lock. Never used a lubricant on any ignition lock as you will discover why one day. Ian platt
I’ve got the adaptors for these work well but have had to take the tip off on a few occasions
