Count Muppet Posted May 7, 2021 Report Share Posted May 7, 2021 There was a flyer through the post today saying that they are now the sole supplier of trophies to Timpson and to throw away any catalogues from other suppliers. Also mentioned that trophies can be ordered direct from our desktop ordering system. this does not mean timpson have brought them at all. As far as I’m aware, timpson have no interest in holding any more stock than they need to. They are highly unlikely to buy any company that relies on high stock holdings when they prefer to force other companies to hold the stock ready for timpson to purchase only when needed. they have the money, contacts and capabilities to set up such a business whenever they wanted to. There’s no point in buying out a company that only deals to trade because they know everybody else would stop using them if they did.
