exp121260
Just looking at buying couple of stuff I can not get here in the UK, Aliexpress now adding 20% VAT to everything under £135 in value ! Anything over £135 you do not pay VAT to the supplier but you get an invoice to pay here before you get your package ..
petercoulson
It will be no different to buying from the US, yes you will get a VAT invoice to pay before delivery plus the carriers handling charge for arranging that payment. If you're VAT registered it gets claimed back but not the charge. exp121260
exp121260
Thanks Peter , any idea how the charge calculated ? is it percentage of the item value or just one off charge by the carriers ?
petercoulson
most of the time it's a one off but not always never can work it out. On cheaper items it makes a big difference.
