k4mrc
lloks v impressive, however it would be nice to see it in action - i;e cut key engrave and see the finished item, with out the music.
grahamparker
I am hoping to do that on Wednesday if I am allowed. Or take photos at least. Silca have been very protective about this new machine.
Growster
I could see a feeder tray, and a decoding function. Perhaps it also has the Lector rolled into this?
grahamparker
You can stack up to 100 blanks in the feed hopper, it will then cut, engrave and re stack the keys when finished. k4mrc

grahamparker
Just had the pleasure of being the very first customer to get a hands in demo of the new Unocode f series machine. Big thanks to Matt, Lee both of Silca and of course Andy Lewis snd Aldridges for arranging this demo for me. This is the next level key cutting even for professionals. Best part of 27k for the fully loaded option but what a stunning piece of engineering. Machine ordered for delivery in the new year.

Count Muppet
You’ve got to see these things in the flesh if you’re going to fork out £27k surely
grahamparker
There have been a few demo's done by video but i was invited to be the first in peron to see it and use it by Aldridges and Silca UK. I cut and engraved 50 Abus 85 series keys and it took 33 seconds per key from pickup to stack, we stood chatting watching the machine doing it's thing. After a couple of hours i was allowed to crack on and use it myself it's complicated and very daunting but becomes easier the more you use it.
