roys101
Hi. The foam pad in the Doc Martins sandal has dry-rotted. I need to choose an adhesive/caulking to re-adhere footbed components. I was thinking about using silicone caulk/rtv. It would be nice to be able to lay down the adhesive, and then step into the sandal to form the footbed. What "glue" should I use? Thanks. Chris. Flash
If by "dry-rotted" you mean they are breaking up, crumbling, you will find it difficult to find an adhesive that will cure the problem, but without seeing the sandals it's difficult to advise
elfman
any adheseve you use will no work to form a new footbed .i would suggest white high density plastasote which when heat wil l form to the exact shape of your foot as you stand on it the cover it and glue into place or you could use medium density eva
