ironplanet uk900
Had a customer in today who collects WW1/2 memorabilia. He took this Japanese leather Sword sheath into a local multiple! For the damaged end to be restored to its former glory. This is what they did at a cost of £20. Not really one for naming and shaming but this is an absolute disgrace by anyone's standards. I'm going to put it right for him. kobblers and Mike at Vauxhall 1

x minit uk
You can see why they got the queens award to the industry though.
Count Muppet
To be fair, it wasn’t a queens award for quality work. It had something to do with providing opportunities to those who would otherwise not find work (or similar)
Count Muppet
But that is an embarrassment. kobblers
Mike at Vauxhall
Ironically the person that did the shoddy job, should commit hari kari for the dishonour he has bought on himself. kobblers

ironplanet uk900
The thing that worries me more than anything is the horrendous prices they charge for horrendous workmanship. I'm convinced they are ruining the repair trade with the above antics. I know not all their staff are bad, but it does seem they're getting worse with all these pods everywhere. It's only a matter of time before there is a public backlash imo. I'll never let my standards drop, I'd rather jack in than lower myself to that standard. Cant blame staff, if you dont know you dont know. kobblers and x minit uk
