rapidlocks
personally id advise neither , superobd skp900 is no longer supported or updated . but at end of day it really depends what you want the unit to do coverage wise .
dakes2
I do a lot of older cars upto about 2012, so I am really looking for something that can do them, Vauxhalls, Kia, citroen, Renault, Peugeot, and I am on a limited budget of about £

rapidlocks
to be frank and honest , you are not going to get much reliable coverage on that budget especially on peugeot , renault and vauxhall certainly not for pin code reading , the skp900 will do kia but you will need to buy the pin codes , a good pin code calculator for kia and hyundai will eat up your budget as the best pin calculator for models up to 2016 will set you back over £400 . older cars up to 2012 , include some pretty complex systems , vag especially . the best advice i can suggest is save your money until you have a more realistic budget for the makes you require , even the cheap china offerings with the coverage you seek without having to buy in codes is going to be 3 times your current budget and even then you will have big coverage gaps . if it was that simple to pay £500 and have this level coverage , we would all be doing it rather than invest what we do in our diagnostics lockdecoders and CDTL 1
