if the cylinder was worn then a Schlage C key may slide in,

so I think you at are looking for a CLP1, 1537 Clopay Key, which is basically a thinner  version of Schlage C,

or possibly X1014L / LO1,

then again Lori has used several keyways over the years and Schlage C was one of them,
