Simes
Has anyone seen these before? Apparently for a "security door" no markings on the key but there appears to be some unusual notches in the tip of the key?
grahamparker
Silca WJ1R. The little nick on the side is to disable the first set of keys and does not need to be on the copies. Simes
Simes
Just now, grahamparker said: Silca WJ1R. But those blanks don't have the notches in the end of the key do they? Are they important?
grahamparker
Right you get 2 sets of keys with these locks set A for when a building has contractors in, when they have finished you insert the key with the nicks in and it allows bearings to drop into the mechanism stopping set A from working and allowing Set B to now work. As long as you are copying set B you do not need to worry about the nicks. You can also copy from this key once it has been used. Simes
So...I got the blanks in for these keys Silca WJ1R. I cut them on the Futura using CARD 3833, but it didn't seem to decode right and so I entered the code in manually, but it doesn't work. Is anyone able to confirm what card i should be using (if I got it wrong).
grahamparker
We use the same cutting card on the Triax but if they don't work we manually duplicate using the Mustang. Simes
