NYKeys
Apparently the company named on the key are no more (?!) as per the customer - I'm not putting it here in writing so that if that ISN'T true it won't show up on Google... I've just tried to ring them and got voicemail, but that might be because of the late hour. Any ideas on if copies will be obtainable somehow IF the company in question really HAVE gone? thanks P.S. Apologies in advance - I have a few more questions to come!
MikeB
Did a quick Google search, had 2 come up, 1 in Dorking, the other in Cobham, both say Permanently Closed, is there anything on the reverse side? rmarsters
I think it's Kaba that produce these, so probably worth getting in touch with them
nathandealey
I think ALF-8 could bypass this.
chrisorros
Call Kaba. Explain that you have a customer with one of there keys (Give them the key number & company name on the key) & you believe the company are not about anymore. Sometimes when this happens another company will take/buy their section from them.

Even though the ALF-8 only has 5 flutes vs 7 on the Cobham? I might get one in and do one for free and ask them to let me know if it "goes in". Does not matter how many flutes there are Dan, look at the union bypass blanks Silca UNI31/32 (R) if it fits your 95% of the way there unless it is sitting high in the Plug. Lock Stock
These are Gundman stock keys, if you look at the shoulder you can see it has a grove in it. You should be careful with these, as I think they are still under patent. The newer patented keys just replaced to old section stock. You can get old cylinders with newer keys on them that the grove isn't used. If you can get a picture of the front the cylinder you can see if it has a raised lug on it or not. If its has a lug I would say no, if it doesn't have this on. Then what every way you think best as long as you not infringing on the patent no real dramas.
