kobblers
For the life of me I don't know why people feel the need to cut into the sole as all it does is make a really weak joint. Learn to bloody chamfer your new soles, for God's sake Rick. keithm and exp121260
ironplanet uk900
All too common these days. It makes you wonder if we all get tarred with the same brush, and people don't bother with shoe repairs as much because of their high prices and dire quality. keithm and kobblers

I’m sure it’s timpson themselves that have killed the shoe repair industry. either through too many shops, spreading the work around. Or more likely as you say, high prices and crap work. im glad though. I don’t like getting dirty

I think it's a shame the industry has become awash with poor workmanship at ridiculous prices. The price of materials is also getting out of hand in my opinion! We all use convenience stores even though we know we pay a lot more than most super markets. and it's the same with your pods, convenient and easy. fortunately there will always be customers who are loyal & appreciate quality workmanship at reasonable prices. That's what I believe and that's why I believe there will always be a place for people like us. kobblers, x minit uk and keithm
