trying to remove the core for the following cam lock 

unable to cut the key to code as my A9 keeps cutting too deep??

picked it open but unable to remove

Or replace lock if you only need to remove 1 core.

You can push the retaining wafer down with a lock pick.

The wafer is 17mm from the front of the core.

I'm still waiting to find out, Graham. I'm assuming so, though, because the key you sent me - the cuts were smoother and seemed to blend together rather than be sharp and angular like the ones made from depth keys.

I have the ability in software to change how the keys are cut and we generally use the flat option to remove the ridges that you get when using depth keys, it also makes the keys go in and out of the lock a lot smoother.
