Simes
Tried to copy these to JMA U-26D but they go in and don't turn. Any idea of a blank that would for these?

Simes
I cut them on the futura as she’d had them cut elsewhere. Futura is usually spot on.

Mike at Vauxhall
I use genuine uap, ( without the cap),the universals don't always work. Plus you can charge a bit more for them.

Simes
I looked at Aldridges and SKS and couldn’t find the genuine blanks?
uapmarketingadmin
The key blank in the picture is the new custom key blank (colourama) that UAP now send out with all new stock of cylinders. There are two types, they look the same but one is shorter than the other:: CUSTOM-KEYBLANK-LONG-UAP - UAP Customisable Key Blank with Square Head for 75mm and larger sizes CUSTOM-KEYBLANK-SHORT-UAP - UAP Customisable Key Blank with Square Head for 70mm and under sizes For the JMA U-26D key blank UAP sell the product code: KEYBLANK-UAP1 Hope that all helps Mike at Vauxhall and CitySafe 1

Are you planning on discontinuing the genuine blank without the top?
uapmarketingadmin
Hi, Yes they are discontinued (ZLKEYBLANK & TLKEYBLANK) and eventually all our cylinder stock will be sold with the new style colourama key blanks We still have certain cylinder stock that has the older key blanks included but when that stock is sold and replaced with new stock, that will be the end of those specific key blanks completely. So as it stands, the key blanks that we can supply are the colourama key blanks or we do still have the UNIVERSAL-KEYBLANK-PLAIN - Universal Keyblank for the UAP Personalised Range in stock https://tradelocks.co.uk/universal-key-blank.html Hope that helps out and answers the question. Mike at Vauxhall
Hate to be a bit of a div. So is this. Is being replaced by this. Mike.
uapmarketingadmin
Hi, Yes that is correct. I am told that the above key pictured with the square frosted head (UNIVERSAL-KEYBLANK-PLAIN) can be used as a replacement of the above round headed UAP key blank (ZLKEYBLANKUNIVERSAL). Or as I mentioned on the early post the Colorama key blank can be used too as a replacement. Hope that helps Chris CitySafe
jayfrancis123
Hi, appreciate this is an old post. I'm trying to source the square colorama style, any ideas how? The images online only show the round version

nxasdf
As someone with OCD for things to look neat and tidy, WHY do manufacturers persist to put the keyring holes off centre? They look awful. They stick out on boards like a sore thumb and even on a bunch of keys they sit at different angles because of different cuts (more/less material makes it balance different) and that's even if you do put them on a ring facing the same way. Think I'm about to get an aneurysm at the thought. I've never seen anyone else mention it before but there's no way nobody else feels the same way.
