Mike at Vauxhall
Generally been quite successful at this, but had a couple of returns over the past few months, where a glass I'd had to glue, instead of pressure in with gaskets, has fallen out. Easily corrected, but does any one use a different glue. I use GS hypo cement. I have used seiko s-310, but really did not like it.
hakeemz
i use gs hypo too, and its the best i find, in the case you mentioned i think its not the glue thats at fault, its the size of glass, (being slightly small) when i was new to glass repairs i found if customer returned with fallen out glass i would fit a glass 1 or 2 sizes bigger and still use glue, this solves the problem..i haven't had any returns recently.. Mike at Vauxhall
This must be because I carry nearly the full range, but in 2mm increments. I'll have to increase the range to include the odd numbers also. Thanks.
