Union mortice can't be copied?

This customer swears she has had her original with 2 proper locksmith's shops, neither of which was able to produce a working key.

Does that ring true at all? The original is unusually stamped, SB34.

The photos with the single key show the original, the RST is the copy. The original has 7 cuts, not 5.

The RST copy looks like it’s been cut on a very blunt blade. I wouldn’t expect the machine to be set up very well.

if this is for an APG door, I’ve had troubles with these myself but usually put it down to poor quality blanks

If it’s 7 leverit looks like a 3g114 blank would be the best bet as it could be a Union version of the Chubb 7 Lever can’t remember the code but I still have a lever and key repair kit for the lock.

Thank goodness, I thought I was the only one , where a customer comes in and says," I've tried a proper shop, but they can't do it, but maybe now you can help?"
