Broms Cobb
Today at 9-00am I had a customer complaint - stating that a key they had cut one year ago (roughly) had given them problems on and off for the whole year? Sometimes it worked sometimes not and that when they put the original key in the lock worked every time? And today they were completely locked out of the shop! This is a shop owner in my town and obviously they are so right all the time because they is cleverer than normal customers, (according to them) So luckily being quiet and the fact i had only called in for bookwork I trotted to the shop - she was right! the key she gave me did not work? So perhaps something was wrong - I tried it found there was no chance of it working asked them what the other key on the ring was for, they said the other lock and they also had big problems occasionally with it too? These were two asec keys and I had cut them both! even my shop name is on the blanks so I really had nowhere to go but to sort out. I tried the second key into the first lock and hey, it worked so much so they asked what had I done? had I tampered with it? No i said you have to put the right key into the right lock to get it to work? They apologised for the whole year as they had slated me as a BAD key cutter every time they had had the problem.. funny, funny, funny twits even the clever ones.. grahamparker
https://www.sks.co.uk/counter-accessories/key-caps/standard We have 5 different boxes of these on the counter to avoid this type of problem. These and Kevron key tags just sell themselves.

As count muppet said hope you charged them or at least suggest you ka the locks as to make them "clever people" proof in the future. What astounds me is if I have a problem with a product i take it back & talk to the supplier as soon as i know there is a problem to sort it out. Not bitch about it for (roughly) a year later & expect the supplier to drop everything sort it out when it "fails". Simply a piss take.....happy new year one & all lol Mike at Vauxhall, kobblers and k4mrc
Mike at Vauxhall
Couple of hints on how to identify similar keys, the core truth is the matter of the complete stupidity of the customer. Truly wants to make you both laugh and cry. kobblers
