Bren
Seen a few of these in the last couple of weeks. Don't have the gear to do them. Bloke who brought 1 in on tuesday said they were guaranteed against picking to the tune of a grand.
grahamparker
That's not true, they are guaranteed against snapping only and that will pay £1000. Does not apply if drills are used or picks. There is a lock pick available that Aldridges sell and it works a treat with very little practice. kobblers

Michael
Cut first one of these yesterday on Silca BRS1R ...would only go in the lock half way!! Width and depth are less than original so must be the grooves. Is there anywhere I can pick up a lock to test the blanks with, or original blanks without buying loads of locks?? The Worksop Heel Bar
We registered for a trade account with brisant without having to buy a load of cylinders and it gave us the option when registered to buy just a half cylinder for test lock purpose. It cost about £20. kobblers and Michael
MarkD
If using non-genuine blanks then it voids Brisant's guarantee so you should probably warn the customer of this.
