NYKeys
Anyone else have difficulties getting responses from Charles Birch from anything else beyond the routine advising of short/mis-shipments etc? I am trying to help CB with a couple of super easy changes they could make to their website to make it easier to use and they are just ignoring me!Should I stop wasting my time?! grahamparker
YES. Did that years ago, complete shower of S**T in my book will never use them again. If you have any issues with Aldridges website then it's a different matter you just need to know the right people. gavin
kobblers
Hi, NYKeys. I have contacted David Macdonald at Charles Birch for you and let him know that you have raised an issue. He has asked me to give you his email address to talk to him directly: DavidMacdonald@charlesbirch.com Hope this helps! Rick.

NYKeys
Thank you - have emailed him and hope for the best. Got a reply from David, seemed genuinely interested in resolving the staff ignoring emails problem AND wanted to hear my thoughts on their website. So, seems a case of: if you have the right person's contact details things can happen but trying to raise an issue any other way and you're going to have a hard time! Thanks to David @ Charles Birch, Kobblers and Graham. kobblers

Mike at Vauxhall
Just as a side note . Got the Jan newsletter, showing the new range of birch aerosols. Like the styling, price and the fact they are British made. Phoned up birch, "do I have to order by the dozen?" "Yes". Well that's fine for protector, but I'm not ordering a dozen shoe stretcher.did not order. Just checked the website, they are showing up individual purchase at the same price. Bit annoying. SteelCityShoes
Some of the quantities don't make sense. Usually they are happy to split things up. But then other times you can be told you have to order heels in packs of 20 only to have two individual packs of 10 turn up. other times order 10 pairs and receive a pack that has been cut in half. completelocks and Mike at Vauxhall
keithm
I find it strange that a sponsor of this website doesn't monitor it and pick these issues up directly. It shouldn't need another member to contact them in order to gain a response. Just my opinion of course. keithm
I used Charles Birch for 15 years as a repairer/businessman, things were different in those days Broms Cobb
Broms Cobb
We get along great with Birch and in about 28 years only a handful of problems.. I will probably get slated now - but as I see things (compared to a lot of other companies BIG and small) there great recommend them fully da miller and Mike at Vauxhall
Mike at Vauxhall
Apart from the minor aerosol problem, I too would recommend Birch. Broms Cobb

NYKeys
Apart from the minor aerosol problem, What problem? kobblers
Mike at Vauxhall
Them not splitting a dozen on the phone. Then advertising them singly on the website, more of an annoyance than a problem.
kobblers
I email my orders to them, cowers lane and they send me whatever I order, even split packs. Rick.

completelocks
The "price per 10" gets me, when it says underneath it "Min order 30". So basically that's the price of a third of the minimum order.

kobblers
I did my order as usual, this week, via email and ordered some items that involved splitting a pack with no problems whatsoever. Might be best to email yer orders. Rick.
