NYKeys
Does anyone have a way of determining key bitting from numbers stamped on levers? SKS managed to send a lock out to me this morning without any keys (lock, faceplate and presumably at some point keys all in an open cellophane bag). I had a devil of a job getting them to simply supply me with the number of the pre-cut key from the levers - they wanted to send me a new lock for tomorrow when I had a wall of Union keys and the customer waiting for his pre-ordered lock. Thought in future would be simpler to be able to do the look up myself. Thanks

Mick Friend
try the keys? if it is 3 lever 100 goes if the number 1 is in a certain position try just the keys with a 1 pin in that spot simples!

NYKeys
I have put my chart in the downloads section. DC DC your chart seems to contain an error (or two?) the bitting for key M141M (at least) is wrong isn't it?
DC77
Your probably correct I made the chart by measuring the keys and the levers many (too many) years ago. Grahams chart is from the Souber key and reader kit and should be more accurate than mine . DC kobblers
NYKeys
Any ideas how one would cross reference the levers (numbered 153) on a 2077 Horizontal union 3 lever mortice lock? Sorry if this is an easy one to resolve. It's NOT M153M sadly...
MarkD
Have you tried m112m and m116m?
grahamparker
I assume the top lever is 1 then 5 then 3 if so it is key number M112M. If the other way then M116M as MarkD mentions above. If neither of these work it might be one of the M1-36M series.
