Hi can you help? A customer brought me a front door cylinder UAP and a back door cylinder UAP blank for me to copy. I used a hd uap1 but on the front door they won't work,so I tried a genuine UAP which now won't fit in the lock. I've also tried a hd er6 but to no avail. I also cut spare keys on my test locks and they work. Any idea what I'm doing wrong please.?

I do a lot of these as the firm is near me. Tried allsorts of blanks including UAP and all have been hit and miss. Now I only use keyline UN6D and not had 1 back in 6 months.

We had a few problems with Silca UAP keys, birch sent us UL064 to try instead and none came back.

I now use HD keys but I haven't been using them for long enough to comment on their reliability for the UAP blank.

If even a universal is too thick, Davenport sell a UL1/2 slim. This is assuming it's the same profile as a standard UAP. Maybe some pictures would help if not.
