Hi all,

Looking at getting into mercedes key programming. I've been getting so many calls for them recently, seems silly to not invest. Is anyone out there doing them already and if so what programming equipment are you using? I have a zedfull so naturally looked at that stuff, but then there is the Simon touch stuff and ckm 100 from nw keys. I know there's other stuff available so any advice would be greatfully received.

Thanks all

Look at the support available and work backwards.

I have a colleague with Simon Touch that can't seem to get support, as I have to follow him around putting jobs right. He sourced it from the UK btw.

SuperMerc is good but expensive compared to buying the same kit unbranded.

I bought the Evo kit from a UK supplier, paid less and have 1-1 support at all hours.

Thanks locksafe.

Wheres the best place to get the evolution kit, back up is the most valuable part of any tool set up as far as I'm concerned. Can't beat good friends and back up in this game!!!

I just want something relatively simple that does what it's supposed to safely. Can't keep passing these merc calls on 😁

Sorry Tony, either the kit is poor or the training is poor or both. The guys with the ZedFull seem to struggle with the same cars that guys with MB KeyProg fly through.

If you were to look toward the east ;) you could get excellent coverage including the latest BGA keys for peanuts, you would be struggling for support though.

Hi, I have used this myself (and am 1000% novice) but with the 3 ways to copy keys I found it good.

TBH when first launched there was not much in the way of Instructions and I think this was the biggest issues , Now there is a Massive step by step guide that comes with these and this is what I used to try my first key copies  and  made me from a Novice to a just above novice ..

I 100% still advise the training is worth while which is a day with us, and this would set someone up really well .

When you say look to the east, I take it you mean China??

I've checked out alot of that stuff, just not sure, I know of one person who uses alot of Chinese merc stuff and he seems to do ok with it. Just not sure about it messing up people's cars. Also buy cheap buy twice springs to mind. I don't know what to do to be honest😵😵
