which knife to slice sole???

I have got two mens shoes come in to me for a lift/build up. I am going to slice through th moulded soles and raise it in between the two halves but I need to order a knife to do it. Who knows which is the best knife to use and where from? I see CB have a couple on their website but which is best suited for this type of job? Thanks

I would use the largest (4.5"??) straight blade, not clicker or curved.

have you attempted this before if not be careful the knifes cb have are the ones you need indeed the 4.5 inch rosewood handle ones are best have used them and still using them to do this work

Yes I have done this work a few times over the years but the knives I used have 'disappeared' so need to get replace but make sure I buy the right one.

job now done and customer has collected them. I used the good old stanley knife. Both soles had hollow middles so easy enough.
