just a little tit bit ,david camerons father in law says out as he has inside knowledge on plans by the eu to raid the pension pots and to harmonise the tax system of member states so that it is all controlled from brussels ,as an ex ceo of a large pension fund he has seen the proposals and estimates the bill to be around 150 billion ,he also states that they have already imposed red tape on insurance companies costing them 3 billion so far , if you vote to stay then be careful what you wish for

I think I've swayed again and I'm going to vote OUT.  The border issue is big with me and thinking to the future I think I should trust Britain and British business to do what it does best and what it used to be the best at, Trading with the World over :-)

Welcome to The Dark Side, Keith :)

I agree wholeheartedly with your statement.

tbh no one up here gives a flying fukk about the in out ref.

we are treated already like 2nd class citizens

it would only get worse i think if we voted out.

thats why you guys down saff should have had a vote to see if we stay in the UK. LOL

cos the scottish vote is going to keep you in the EU sorry !

carry on!

  • 2 weeks later...

For those on the fence, just think about this and then decide what you would HONESTLY do:

If you'd never been part of, but were now asked to join the EU, in its current financial state, with levels of unprecedented youth unemployment and failing economies and, also, handing over most of your Sovereign Rights to an unelected body who can override your own country's laws. If this same body decided to pay your fishermen to burn their boats whilst letting other states have full access to our fishing waters.

Would you join it?

Rick.

But if you vote OUT then the scottish government can say we don't want out and go for another independence vote, then you can leave and rejoin the EU sinking ship.

So if the scots all vote out now they can go there own way in the future and i wish you the best of luck with that.

have said it before and will repeat it , I do not know any alive in this country that voted to be in the eu , the fact that we are in it is because we voted to join the common market which no longer exists in the form we joined and has some how grown into the eu and all our respective governments have just rolled with it  without realising where it was going or leading to

Not long now, until the polling stations open 7am - 10pm.

Has anyone changed there mind through out the campaigning? I know I haven't.

Ive changed my mind on several occasions as I've listed to both sides

currently leaning towards out, I just don't buy what the scare mongerers (government) are trying to sell. They've lied to me and the country too many times.

How many times does a proven lair keep peddling lie after lie after lie and exhibit corruption after corruption, at some point I'm sorry but I will stop listening to you and say fooook you you've lied far too many times for me to ever take you seriously ever again

my opinion? far more truth is coming from the OUT camp and I think their arguements stand up better under scrutiny.

After months of banging my head I'm OUT

Not sure how true it is, (because I hate anything to do with politics and religion as they're all based on lies and exaggerations!!) but a friend told me this morning that he had read an article about how, even if the "out" vote wins, it is not a legally binding referendum and the government can meet and still decide that we're not leaving and try and re-negotiate a different deal!!!

WHAT'S THE F***ING POINT!!

that would never happen though, would it? could you imagine the trouble that would cause Michael!

I voted at 7.10am, even then the polling station was busy. I saw a head line from some "bod" in the EU on a paper this mornings saying "Out means OUT" scare mongers, er hello if we vote out, we mean OUT. Let the public decide.

I've read that also. I've also read that it won't be binding because although england is predominantly out, scotland, Wales and N I are predominantly remain.
