cobbler ont' green
Hi could anybody please give me some positive & negative feedback on the miracle a9 machine as I'm just about to buy one and would love as much information as possible from people who use one. Many thanks Jason Reeve

cobbler ont' green
Yes I'm wondering if there's any hidden gremlins I should be wary of before I jump in do it . I'm fully aware that there's pros & cons to every machine so feedback from people that use the machine will be valuable.
Lock Stock
In our smaller shop we have a A9 which is easy to use and good little all round machine. For the price I think there really good value and the technical support offered by Peter and Neil is very good. There is also owner Face Book groups for tips, advice or help. The machine itself cuts laser and Dimple keys relatively fast and precise. The adapters and cutters available are very reasonably priced which makes it easy to expand into new section/areas without a massive cost. It can also cut cylinder keys. It does this quite well but its not as good as the laser/dimple keys it was designed to cut. That said I don't think there is a good milling machine to cut cylinder keys on the market. We haven't had any trouble with ours and I would recommend it. Value for money you cant go wrong.

Lock Stock
I would go direct so if you weren't happy or had any trouble with it you could go straight to the right person or talk direct. I don't think you won't be happy it's a good machine.

I don't think you won't be happy it's a good machine. Shouldn't make the slightest bit of difference where you purchase it from, you should still expect the same level of service. I got my Triax and Unocode from Aldridges and get great service from them and from Silca UK.

Lock Stock
Shouldn't make the slightest bit of difference where you purchase it from, you should still expect the same level of service. I got my Triax and Unocode from Aldridges and get great service from them and from Silca UK. I didn't say they wouldn't help you if you didn't order from them. That wasn't my point. I always prefer to go direct to the manufacture. If you could go direct to Silca and order your M-Box would you not? or would you still order though Aldridge? grahamparker
Always through Aldridges, i do not want them to disappear they have been good to me over the years and i get better discounts as a result. I have Direct accounts with Abus and Squire, i get a better discount on Abus from Aldridges, Hoppe and Toolbank than direct and Squire give me the same discount but i don't have to worry about carriage from Aldridges as i order from them on a daily basis. It is just the same as our customers using the internet rather than us as Retailers, if everybody used the internet we would cease to trade. Be careful what you wish for.
