Michael
Don't forget to mention "Apple pay" I was going to ask about this, does it work already or does it have to be added?
Count Muppet
Should already be built in. The terminal just recognises the RF signal I think
StevenB
No, the stand I bought from http://www.retailgurus.co.uk/ingenico-ipp320-ipp350-pinpad-mount I ordered one of these yesterday having seen this, it came this morning, now laying out the laminate sign! Great service, I hope you're on commission from them!! Michael and Mike at Vauxhall
Broms Cobb
we have started after reading this topic and can honestly say it's fantastic, we even are giving cashback, which is patchy as the customer's never ever thought a cobbler would offer it ironplanet uk900 and Mike at Vauxhall

cobblers.keys
I have had contactless in since last week but most customers don't want to do contactless if they do not get a recipt so I feel I need to tell them which way they want to use contactless or inserting card, although asking all the time is time wasting. ??? Mike at Vauxhall
My terminal will give out a receipt if you press the right button. Contactless has been phenomenally successful in my shop. Credit card sales have increased from approx 33% to 66% of sales in the last few months. We could be heading for a cashless society. cobblers.keys
Customers are still asking for recipts and question why they are not automatically given one. As far as I can gather is the only recipt we can give is the merchant copy? surely this isn't a good idea?

If it's an Ingenico machine, when the screen returns to the "READY" screen, press the .,' button and it will print a customer receipt. Michael
I'm still dealing with the "I'm not using contactless, I'll stick with chip and pin" brigade!! :smt075

StevenB
I don't even ask now, if it's under £30 & their card has the contactless logo, that's how it's done. Some folks comment about 'not knowing the card could do that', some request a receipt, which is fine. Some just find it a bit confusing. I like to think that I'm doing my bit to drag Cromer into the 20th Century. windycity
cobblers.keys
So StevenB, when your customer asks for a recipt, do you give them the merchant copy?
Count Muppet
Print a duplicate receipt if your terminal doesn't do a customer copy.
StevenB
As the count says, I just print a duplicate receipt (F1 key on my ingenico iCT250 terminal), and away they go.

Simes
I've not even thought about this yet but sounds interesting. What extra pricing is involved, i.e. to have it added to account, machine upgrade (currently have Ingenico ict250), % charges etc. I have the same machine, with WorldPay. Upgradewas free and straightforward. Love it! So much quicker. Some customers are not keen but it's optional and majority are fine with it. Wish I'd done it earlier. It doesn't automatically print a Customer receipt so reduced cost on thermal paper roll too! Mike at Vauxhall and Michael
