tommy
Hi All, I have so far ordered 5 keys (yale superior to code) from 2 different companies and only 1 worked first time 3 separate customers. Having spoke to one supplier today I was told that 1 in 30 do not work but this is not my findings. I have put a photo of two non working keys 1 either side of the original. The copies to me look to be cut too deep and the tracer part is cut off on the end. Is this the problem? First failure got stuck in customers door and took 20 mins to get out. Not good. How are the rest of you getting on? Can anyone shed any light why this is happening? Would get my own machine but seems too hit and miss to me Thoughts? Cheers Tommy

k4mrc
Sorry, but they do not look like the original, we had trouble with these - the main problem was each dimple cut from nose is the reverse angle, one one way the next the other (one angled one side then the reverse angle if that makes sense to you), once we got this right Bingo they work. Count Muppet
I've been trying to decode these by eye. Is it A-22131 B-3211 C-32331 ? Sorry it doesn't help you, I'm just trying to expand my knowledge.
chrisorros
Simply miss cut. Using occam's razor could be one of three things.1. People not taking the time to make sure the key blank is placed correctly in the machine. 2. Yourself or said companys placing the wrong code to them/in the machine or 3. A miss printed card, giving you the wrong cuts. Two companies getting it wrong looks more towards three. I use r&r security for mine & never had a problem with them. I have used them for years & years for odd bits or keys i can't cut. R & R SECURITY SERVICES 020 8847 4404 As for the key getting stuck i would say the blank wasn't tidy up properly / not all the swarf was removed causing the the pin to bined is the most likely.
