hakeemz
your software has a curve text function, button should look like abc written on a red courved line(or similar in your version), hover your cursor above it and it will read curve text, highlight your required text by double clicking on it then press this button , opens up a new window, enter half the radius value or even 2mm less than that in the left middle tab (it says in red radius 1/2x diameter) and press enter
jayke
Hi, Thank you for the reply I think i get it, if the engraving area was a normal shape rectangle it would measure 23mm x 7mm so if i put that in the software as the engraving area i then cant get the text to be in the box it keeps going above it what am i doing wrong? windycity
Mr J why not contact kev who is a gravo man and he may help or even arrange some tuition from his end. sorry but i have no idea how you would do it on a gravo. can you scan it then import it and use that as a template, does the machine allow you to measure the item to be engraved? i seem to remember a post on here about making your own templates for a similar item. good luck
ANDY
You need to measure the whole area. Not just the box. Say for arguments sake the dummy is 50 mm round Enter you dimensions as 50 by 50 Measure the top of the top box to the bottom of the bottom box say its 45 mm You then need to half that measurement less a little bit to get your arc text inside the box Repeat this for the bottom arc of text Run with a spring tip on clear tape to make sure all is well You may also want to put a large retract on so you don't snag the nugget in the middle of the dummy Or just run the top half separate to the bottom half that way you will avoid the diamond travelling over the centre If you get stuck. Just shout

Rizla
Done many of these.... Make me glad I invested in the EGX 360. The laser helps no end. Does the Grvo have a laser? Thought it did.
