Simmsy
thanks for the responses lads,i seem to have solved the problem now dont know whethere use have done it this way but heres what i did i installed the driver differently to previous i first wiped all printer drivers from the computer then restarted with the engraver switched off then went into the drivers directory in my gravostyle folder and went into setup....followed the onscreen instructions while it installed the driver,it then asks u to to turn the machine on etc. once thats finished i went into printer properties and allowed access to everyone on the security settings and thats it its been working great for 48 hours now and that includes me turning my laptop off and my engraver hope that helps it also seems to have stopped windows reintalling another copy of the driver each time u turn it on cheers
