pissing customers

we all get them, you could have told her that in your opinion they are maybe not an economical repair, but if she would like them repaired you are quite willing to do the job, that way you have atleast recommended it could be money better spent on a new pair, this way you get money in your till and the customer gets the shoes repaired

I had a customer in recently with a pair of Ugg boots that were wrecked.

"These cost me a lot of money, can you repair them?"

She left them for me to look at, I quoted a likely price & away she went.

When I came to look at them, they were so badly worn, I refused to do them. She got in a huff, but I explained that whatever I did, they would split open within a week & she'd have wasted her money.

After some discussion, we came to a compromise - and I threw them away for her :lol:
