Mick Friend
I would think the transom arm in the door has a loose screw (like me) and that the square head has rotated, or a stop is missing off the door frame. But I would go for arm- or the closer is bejiggered. there is either and end cap or a side plate on the top of the door - side plate will be an ali strip saying -bts 75, or fred nerk closer - undoing the small screws will reveal a pair of allen key bolts clamping the square head of the opener - if it's end feed the top section of the door will pull off say a 3 inch piece and the same should be seen. The arm may also be loose in the door and a small ladder and a squit over the top will reveal if the arm has moved by the imprint in the muck.
