Sticking Suggestion Help

Recommended Posts

Hi, I currently have a customer who has a 12mm raise on a safety boot which I do. The problem is he works in a place where they wash down the floor area every evening using warm to hot water. After a couple of weeks, he brings the boot back for resticking. The whole build comes away as one piece.

Due to the material on the bottom of the boot, I use Renia Rehagol along with Bostik 5050.

I have tried different ways of doing the raise; 1st a layer of thin resin, followed by EVA Micro, And just straight EVA Micro.

One issue there is; He needs a good grippy sole and heel and I have been using Moncayo S + H for this.

Could it be that the sole and heel is too heavy for the build? Or is it the hot water just softening the glue?

Is there a temperature efficiency for Bostik 5050?

Is there someone out there who has encountered this problem and found a solution? (sorry for the pun).

Thanks
