Diamond Gals Posted May 20, 2011 Report Share Posted May 20, 2011 Dear all I have a customer who wants 100 napkin rings (silver plated not too expensive) lol! can anyone sugest a supplier, charles birch dont do them and neither do mastergrave. then she wants them engraved with individual names and the same date --- how do you go about pricing for this? any advice/help very welcome. cheers mel Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
StevenB Posted May 20, 2011 Report Share Posted May 20, 2011 I would price the job based on how long it would take me to do in total, multiplied by my hourly rate, rather than the more normal charge per item. In this way, I can usually show the customer that I am giving them a good discount over the standard rate by pricing up per item first, then reeling them in with the job lot price.
