Customer has a Dom key same shape head as a D64 but similar profile to a CB7. CB7 won't go in the lock, she had the lock recently. Has anyone come across this blank? and is there a correct blank for it? or what else did you use?

quite common now, we have kept them in stock for a couple of years. cant remeber the name though. i keep thinking it may be HD CB41 or CB42 but when i checked the davenports website CB41 doesn't exist and CB42 has a round head. the ones we keep have the same shape head as the dom rn key.

it was annoying me so i went and checked, turned out that it probably isn't the one anyway. the key i was thinking of was a HD CE41.

I know the one you mean now, thats the newish CES, might just do it if highest flute not too rounded, will double check at the shop Monday. I hate how many manufacturers share profiles these days

i cant find any info anywhere for you. i found a picture of the keyway that might help someone work out which blank to use. that is assuming i am thinking of the same key that you are looking for.

Hi, After seeing the pictures I'm sure is is DOM RN. We sell and see these locks daily. As said if you don't stock a blank for it silca CB6 should fit (just tried) but you have to shorten it. I've to admit that it is strange it's cross reference HD CB7 doesn't ](*,) .

References for this key: jma dom-21D, keyline DO220 and silca DM119 (nwkeys stocks them)

  • 4 weeks later...

I've a few hundred of the keyline equivalent (DO220) lying around or original DOM if neccesary. I will be pleased to send you some if you are still in need, but it will take a few days because i'm not based in the UK. I'm also still sure silca CB6 will fit if you change angle at the end (shorten it a bit).
