I emailed Bianchi & received this back

We have three distributors in UK: Davenport, NW, and Citysafe.

A tracer don't need much time to be supplied so perhaps they have not ordered from us.

Thanks for the info.

Might be worth a call to the "Supplier of the Year"???

if you damage a tracer with these its either due to trying to read a non metallic key ,ie a volkswagen type 66 found in passat fobs or more likely shite software !!!.

i had a bd laser from the first batch produced and went through umpteen cutters and tracers ,various updates and costly time down on the machine made me bite the bullet ,i got rid after another update and invest in a triax e code

oh what joy , a machine you just turn on and use without the fear of the cutter wandering all over the jaw cutting its own pretty pattern at will ,

from what i hear now the bd laser is a lot better and some people have not had the horrors of owning one that i did , however a shortage of tracers nationally indicates that i was not the only one suffering

I've had one since they first come out and bent 2 tracers, last one i bent by being in a rush and putting the jaw in before allowing the machine to peform the set up process.

I bought the replacement tracer from Gluelines the company who took over Barnes key business when they folded.

The Triax e code is a great machine but far to big for a van, also as it's silca everthing is very expensive, when the new ford and vauhall keys came out it was unable to cut them and a new jaw was required at a cost of over £300, they also charge for software updates which are not cheap.

i hear what you are saying about the size mark , however you can get tibbe adapter so can get rid of 1 machine , and my bd laser came with 3 jaws ,i had to pay 200+ vat for the blue jaw as an extra !

you have been very lucky, i wish mine had lived up to my expectations because i would have not have to have paid the extortionate silca price, as you pointed out !

i am sure that if given the hassle my bd gave me, you would have done the same

When it comes to computerised machines silca do produce the best but then they are the most expensive.

I didn't have much choice when i bought the triax-e-code as the wasn't any competition when i bought mine

but haven't looked back since,i have had a few quirks in the software but nothing major and only a handfull of keys

that didn't work, but most when re-cut worked fine.

In fact i would go as far as saying i don't think i have ever had to throw a key in the bin when using the triax.

Yes the jaws and cutters are expensive but i have always bought my machines through aldridges and have a great working relationship

with them and deals can always be struck if you are a good loyal customer.
