key needed...

need one of these - seen them before but cannot find in the key catalogues..

its off a cabinet - L shaped. the pic on the left is the key hole which fully pulls out of the retainer

any ideas??

Burg make a key very similar but you usually need a special jaw to clamp the key.

 

Try a silca bur5,12 or 19 and taking the back side away.

 

They use them a lot on caravans to stop a key entering the keyway as a form of

added security but most can be picked open in seconds.

 

Think they were called lock blockers.

So, how did it go? Did the blank fit?

I just had a customer asking for the same key. It had even the same bitting. I knew I had seen it somewhere, and here it was! JMA doesn´t have it. Now i´m waiting for a call from my finnish dealer if they got silca BUR3 or BUR7.

edit: it took maybe 10 mins of looking through catalogues, and JMA has it! Not the silcas burg-blank, but HA-1I. Exactly the same!
