Forest Cobbler
Does anyone know if there is a special tool to remove this type of link. We have done the job with a pin, a clamp and a lot of fiddling about & swearing. There must be an easier way.
Count Muppet
is there a screw in the middle on the back of the links? i have done one in the past where you turn the screw half turn then slide the link to the side, but i have also done a lot of fakes and maybe it was one of those i done that on. are you able to take a closer picture of the links? Forest Cobbler
No, there's the end of a spring loaded pin in the hole that you have to push back into the link so you can slide the next one off it. The biggest problem is that whatever you put in the hole to push the pin back then gets in the way so you still can't slide the other link off. Sorry, can't seem to increase the size of the picture without losing clarity. Valerie

Forest Cobbler
Yes, fortunately they are few and far between, so I think the fight with it and charge accordingly option is the way to go. Thanks, Valerie
