It was never my intention to slag anyone off, just to get an answer to a question. I didn't mention the company by name, but equally did not want anyone to think that we had contacted any old engineering company. Had I thought about it fully before I put the post up, then I would have realised that there could only have been two companies that I might be referring to, and that everyone would work it out. I hadn't meant to give the impression that the boss would not pay the bill, just that I thought he might have some grounds for disputing the amount. Anyway, the boss (Mark) has now spoken to Keith and the matter has been resolved. I consider myself to be thoroughly rebuked and promise to think before jumping in with both feet in future.
