Danny King
Hi, We sell zippo petrol lighters but don't carry the zippo blue range. Can anyone tell me if these sell as well as the petrol ones considering how expensive they are As we keep getting asked for gas lighters so have been looking at these for a while now. Michael
I have been asked for gas lighters and when I explain to people that I don't keep them, but I can get them and they are this much, they always say they don't wanna spend that much, hence I won't stock them. Pyrite
I found the Zippo Blu to be a poor choice in lighters. They cost a fortune and we had so many returns with faulty mechanisms inside. Generally I suggest the Ronson lighters over zippo blu. I purchased 12 of them when they first got released in Australia two years ago and I still have 6 left from that order which I pulled from stock when I discovered that they all had a faulty mechanism. Cheers

Michael
I've been looking for some different gas or electric lighters lately, ready for xmas.Bloody hard to find decent ones at a good trade price.
ironplanet uk900
These Zippos are masively over priced. and are not a good seller. Quality gas lighters are not cheap, but cheap gas lighters are not good. So my advice would be, if you want to stock gas lighters, stock good ones like Ronson, and check there returns policy before stocking. I've had some really crap gas lighters in stock over the years, and it just isn't worth the time and effort. planet.

Danny King
Stay away from the cheaper lighters as you might sell a few but they will give you a bigger headache when the start coming back thru your door This is why we have stayed with zippo as you don't see them once they have been sold
cobblers&keys
When I said ''Cheaper'' I Did't mean cheap and nasty. I ment somthing around the 10 pound mark with a brand name. As an alternative to petrol lighters more for women. Do you concur
Forest Cobbler
We also ended up selling our expensive Zippo Blue lighters at half price, and even then it was hard work. We stock quite a good range of inexpensive (not cheap) Hadson gas lighters from Poolebeck, there are many suitable for women. And on the odd occasion we get a return there is no problem with getting it replaced.
