Mick Friend
Not really engraving but I'm hoping someone here has the answer. For fun I make wooden games, nought and crosses etc and I want to make a snakes and ladder game with marbles for counters so it can be used on the move. I need to get a transfer I can either heat fix or water soften and slide onto a piece of wood, then cut the holes on and finally varnish to seal. How and where can I get these? Guest PeterKettle
There is a company called Techsoft who supply our equipment into schools. They also sell sublimation and laser transfer technology. Laser transfers can be heat pressed onto wood. Take a look at http://www.techsoft.co.uk/LASER_IMAGE_T ... E_INFO.htm. Hope this helps. kobblers
I have some vinyl that you can inkjet onto if you want me to send you some Mick? Just add some slightly soapy water to your board before applying and that'll give you a few minutes to maneouvre them. PM me your details if you want a couple of sheets. Or if it's just plain vinyl you want I can cut it for you, just send me the image. Rick.
