Whats the best way for a high gloss finish?

Hi all, im looking for a way and product to get a very high gloss finish on my heels?

Whats the best enamel to buy and who dos it??

Apart from the 'finish' that you may use, try using a 80 or even a 100 grit band along with pad and yankee wax. It will help whatever you use afterwards

i have seen some people use clear spray, or gloss spray - i think birch do it.

Mens leather heel block, im using 80 grit to finish and getting pretty good results but would like to make it perfect

800grit wet n dry + lots of layers of wax and buffing with a cloth,

or alternatively find someone who was in the army and get them to show you how to bull the boots up to a mirror finish.

A few of the forces lads use a product called Morello as an alternative to bullin. You can get it from Colledges

Angelus polish is by far the best product for this got some from a shoe shine guy i used to know that had chairs in the hilton and some airports it comes in a red and black tin and you work it in with your hands.

 

loads of colours and i used to charge 4.99 a tin when customers complained at how expensive this was i used to tell them id give them a refund if they were not happy with it, noone ever asked for their money back and most came back for more,

when i ran out i couldnt source it again, i know its from america and would love to stock it in my next shop,

if anyone knows a supplier of this as this stuff flies out and your customer will be amazed at how good the shine is i had quite a few army boys in as it comes up the same as bulling

 

most polishes have silicon in it and this isnt good for the leather either apparently, although that could just be a sales line.

try damping the heels with a wet sponge and then use a a low grit paper .its all bout pushing down the pours of the leather.also use a curbana wax you wont beat it .

I use a combination of wax, a product called nulac (I don't know of any equivalent over there), and follow up with brillatine clear wax. Tends to produce a glossy finish on the mens stacked leather blocks.
