Dust and Super glue repair - Tutorial

Like it or not, but this is how i repair damaged veneer. It goes fast and it is a strong repair that will last. Maybe some of you already use this method.

 

1. Re heel the shoe as usual, but ignore the damaged veneer.

2. Fill up the gap were there is no veneer with superglue.

3. Then quickly "roll" the shoe in the finest dust from the dust bags. keep the dust in a top of a shoebox.

4. This picture shows the gap with dust in it. Leave it to dry for a minute.....

5. Then sand the heel. If there are more "holes" use more superglue and dust. Here you see the repair.

6. All you have to do now is to paint / wax the heel. DONE! It only takes a few minutes, and of course you charge extra for it!
