kastanza
Ive bought myself a piece of brass to engrave my shops opening hours on and then display outside ala doctors surgery thing. I'm not a whizz at engraving and wondered if any one would have advice on a suitable sized font, font type and depth of engraving. Also i'd like to fill-in with black, what should i use and where would i get it from? thanks in advance.
ironplanet uk900
The size of font depends on the plaque size, but you can view the job beforehand in your software. Depth for infill is a mimimum of .25, again that depends on the size of your text, and the font used. the infill, I would recommend this method viewtopic.php?t=670 Hope that helps. planet. Infilling text is a learning curve and something that you will become better at judging the more experienced you get. Variables include font style, font size, engraving depth, etc.
