Guest tiredmummy
Hey Guys and Girls Does anybody know if such a thing exists as a mobile computerised engraving machine? If possible id like to start a stall on a market doing pet products, but mainly pet tags. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as after hours of searching im at a loss and think i may be looking for something that doesnt exist??? Or maybe im just living up to my thick geordie title!!! Guest Irishcobbler
Hi Carley We use a Roland EGX350 which is a great machine but might be a bit large for your stall, take a look at mastergrave.co.uk and you will probably find something suitable. We bought our machine from Mastergrave and have no complaints! Cheers
Guest tiredmummy
Thanks for your reply! Ive visited mastergrave and it doesnt have any information about how it works on a mobile basis. Could you shed any light on this please? Thanks again
Lee
Carley, I "think" most have to be plugged into the mains, but you could use a generator or leasure battery hooked up to an inverter (something like this) to power it. most small flat bed engravers are easily lifted & can be run off a laptop. Lee
also why not click on either the Gravograph or U-Marq links here on the forum. Both sponsor this site. Lee

Auto Key Wizard
but you could use a leisure battery hooked up to an inverter to power it. Lee's link shows a Modified Sinewave Inverter, You will probably need to invest in a Pure Sinewave Inverter to drive electronic equipment.
