Could you provide a bit more information please, it would be helpful to know the following:

Processor, Ram Installed, Operating System (e.g. XP, Vista etc)

One initial hunch would be to check the amount of free memory and hard disk space on your system, errors like this can occur when Windows runs out of room for the page file.

from memory you need to have about 4gig of free space to install all the software onto your computer the other thing is you must connect this through the 9 pin com cable direct to pc. do not use a usb to 9pin converter as this will not work.

intel pentium 4.. 1300mhz..156mb ram running xp ser pk 2

everything unnessesary turned off

Basically, the computer is under-spec to run the software, that 156MB ram will be used entirely by Windows XP, along with a large page file. It's recomended that you have at least 512MB Ram in a Windows XP machine, and preferably 1GB.

If you check http://www.crucial.com/uk/ you can see how much it'd be to upgrade your memory (if possible).

If not, you can get some reasonably priced machines from Dell, if you check under the Small business range and have a look at their Vostro computers.
