Going to upgrade the computers at work:

 

Whats the verdict on Gravograph software compatability with Vista. I know some of you have had expirience with this issue.

 

Would like to hear Gravographs view also please, before I upgrade.

Just a pointer before you continue. Are you aware that there is a 32 and 64bit version of Vista?

 

I've recently built myself a new pc and opted for the 64bit version. Whilst is it much better in certain areas - I have found many compatibility issues with other software. I have had to completely change certain programs so that there are no conflicts. It seems most programs are written specifically for the 32bit version.

 

I'm not even sure if the Gravograph software has an issue with Vista but it helps to be aware just the same.

No I didn't know that Iain, I was out today with the missus looking at buying some new laptops, when the vista thing dawned on me

 

So I left it....to the salesmans disgust

 

I will speak to gravograph tomorrow and find out the score. The last thing I want is a load of grief.

Spoke to Gravograph today, and have been told that it is a case of downloading drivers to upgrade my 98 dongles....

They promised there support if any problems occur, so will go ahead.
