Hugh-Candoit (ENG)
It is done (or was) by a Newspaper printer in Newcastle. It's called Bronzing and not done in Brass tho you can get gold and silver. Tel No was 01495230705 this number is many years old and may not now exist but could be worth a try. Hugh-Candoit (ENG)
I think that this company takes a mould of the original and then casts a new product, not to sure but I think that this is what they do. Plating is a differnt proccess where the baby's first shoe is dipped in several layers of metal to build up to what appears to be a solid bronze shoe.
